Fame. Once some people get a taste of it, they want more, even if their 15 minutes are coming to a close. Luckily for those who have been cast in a reality competition show, the public's -- and networks' --appetite for unscripted fare means that even someone who placed 15th on, say, Big Brother can find new life on a different show. 

Check out these 19 reality stars who made it on to multiple competition shows, stretching their 15 minutes as far as they would go.

  • Megan Hauserman

    Playboy cyber model Megan Hauserman won the third season of Beauty and the Geek, earning $125,000. And that's when the reality show bug bit hard. She appeared on Rock of Love With Bret Michaels, I Love Money, Rock of Love: Charm School, and Megan Wants a Millionaire. After an incident in which she and Rock of Love coach Sharon Osbourne got into a fight, she sued and settled out of court in 2009.

    After falling short of the top prize on The Voice in 2012, plucky singer Erin Willett lost her dad to cancer and gained 40 lbs. She joined The Biggest Loser to get her life together in 2016. 

  • Ethan Zohn & Jenna Morasca

    After former soccer player Ethan Zohn won $1 million on Survivor: Africa, he and longtime girlfriend and former wrestler Jenna Morasca, who herself won the top prize on Survivor: The Amazon, signed up for The Amazing Race Season 19, in 2011, but were booted in the first round of eliminations. 

  • Rob & Amber Mariano

    They're pretty much pros by now: Rob Mariano went on Survivor four times, winning the Redemption Island season, and his now-wife Amber (née Brkich), is a two-time veteran, winning the All Star season. They then teamed up for The Amazing Race twice but did not win.

  • Whitney Duncan

    Third time was not a charm for Whitney Duncan, veteran of Nashville Star, Survivor: South Pacific, and The Amazing Race (with husband and Surivor alum Keith Tollefson), who has zero reality competition show wins.

    She may not have won Season 4 of So You Think You Can Dance, but Chelsie Hightower and her partner turned in one of the all-time fan favorite routines, and her talent was good enough to earn her a spot as a partner, trainer, and choreographer on Dancing With the Stars.

    In trying to break into the music industry, powerful singer Jessica Sierra first appeared on Star Search, then becoming a finalist on American Idol's fourth season. But arrests related to drug and alcohol abuse derailed her budding career even as she appeared on Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew. She eventually got clean and sober.  

  • Nikki McKibbin

    Texas-born rock singer Nikki McKibbin placed third on American Idol in 2002, then did the reality TV rounds, appearing on Fear Factor and Battle of the Network Reality Stars, and even co-starring in a movie called The Scorned, which featured reality stars. Her most poignant reality TV moment may have been on Celebrity Rehab With Dr. Drew, where she revealed that she had been sexually and emotionally abused as a kid, and was addicted to alcohol and anti-anxiety medication. She eventually beat her addiction. Her son later auditioned for American Idol, but was cut before the live shows.

    Outspoken, brash and self-described "survivalist" Lisa D'Amato became a contestant viewers loved to hate on America's Next Top Model, to which she returned several times, as well as appearing on Celebrity Rehab With Dr. Drew.

    She was once Red Sonja and other kickass bigscreen power chicks. And then Brigitte Nielsen went on a reality show, then another, then another, then, well, you get the picture. Nielsen, half of the most bizarre couple ever (Flavor Flav was the other half, of course), has been on European versions of American shows like I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here, The Surreal Life, and Celebrity Big Brother.

  • Dennis Rodman

    Of all the things he's done -- play in the NBA, marry Carmen Electra, befriend North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un -- the must unexpected may be winning $222,000 on a reality competition show. Dennis Rodman did just that on Celebrity Mole. He also appeared on Celebrity Apprentice and the UK's Celebrity Big Brother.

    She was famously the runner-up in the first season of The Bachelor, and went on to star in the inaugural season of The Bachelorette. But Trista Sutter (born Rehn), who actually married the man she picked at the end of the season (Ryan Sutter). She went on to compete in the first season of Dancing With the Stars and went on Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars with her hubby in 2014.
