Amber Portwood Finally Gets a Win in Her Custody Battle for Leah

It's finally over! According to reports, Amber Portwood and Gary Shirley have finally settled their custody battle over their shared daughter Leah. After more than two years of fighting over it, the Teen Mom OG stars are happy with their current arrangement.

Amber lost custody of Leah when she spent over a year in jail for substance abuse, but ever since her release in November 2013, she's been walking the straight and narrow. Ever since then, she's been battling a piece at a time to regain partial custody of her 6-year-old, and it looks like she's finally gotten her wish.

A source close to Shirley told Radar Online that the exes will share custody of Leah 50/50. The insider revealed, "Amber and Gary finally worked everything out with their lawyers two weeks ago ... They're both happy."

The news comes just days after the new promo for Teen Mom OG was released, which showed Amber in tears over her struggle to spend more time with her daughter. She cried on camera, "I shouldn't have to go through a custody battle for my kid!"

This is awesome news for Portwood! After more than two years of keeping clean, she's earned the right to half-custody of Leah.
