Dr. Fitch Cooper, in Nurse Jackie, (the adorable Peter Facinelli) has a great sense of humor, even if he doesn't always know it. Seriously, what could be better than a handsome doctor who can also make you laugh?

Why so serious Dr. Sam Bennett? Doesn’t matter, because even when he wasn't smiling, Taye Diggs’, character from the sadly departed Private Practice could increase a pulse in a heartbeat. 

Let’s thank our lucky stars that The Night Shift’s Dr. T.C. Callahan is into saving lives. That, and the fact that Eoin Macken’s character is also a leader when it comes to running a hospital. Businessman and medical professional! Sexy!

Well, hello Dr. Jackson Avery! It was no surprise when the blue-eyed Jesse Williams became a Grey’s Anatomy series regular after just one season of guest appearances. After all, what’s not to like about his anatomy? 

When he first appeared on the show, Chris Messina’s The Mindy Project character, Dr. Danny Castellano, managed to get more than Mindy's attention. Now, as his on-screen romance with Mindy evolves, viewers crushing on the hunky doctor can just sit back, relax, and enjoy.

Omar Epps in the house! Although the actor portrayed the handsome and self-assured Dr. Eric Foreman in House for eight years, it was still a short-lived TV viewers' fantasy.   

Women would look for a reason to nip and tuck something, anything, if Dr. Sean McNamara was behind the knife. Dylan Walsh was one half of the super hot plastic surgery practice McNamara/Troy on the hit TV series Nip/Tuck.

Um, yea, so he’s a nurse. But come on! How could we not include Morris Chestnut on this list? He played Ike Prentiss in Showtime’s Nurse Jackie and sent viewers' blood pressure through the roof the second he appeared on screen.

He set the bar pretty high when it comes to sexy TV doctors, our Dr. Derek Shepherd. Patrick Dempsey made an epic exit from Grey’s Anatomy but he will never be forgotten.

OK, so Dr. Mike Cruz wasn’t exactly the sweetest guy around, but damn he was nice to watch on screen. Bobby Cannavale brought an added treat to Showtime’s Nurse Jackie when he took over the ER.

This one goes down in the history books. Harry Connick Jr. played Dr. Leo Markus on Will & Grace and stole our hearts in the hospital and through his romance with Grace.

No one "rushed" to change the channel when Tom Ellis appeared onscreen. The tall, dark and handsome stud starred as Dr. William P. Rush in the USA Network series Rush and knew a thing or two about making people feel good.

Remember that Dr. McNamara guy? Yea, well this was his partner Dr. Christian Troy, the other half of McNamara/Troy on Nip/Tuck. Boob lift anyone?
