In the season finale teaser, Cartman's mom tries to get him to go to bed. You know, your typical American family nighttime situation. But, Cartman doesn't want to go to bed. So, obviously, this being your typical American family nighttime situation, he pulls a gun. His mom is shocked, crying, "Eric! Where did you get that?"

But after he refuses to give in, she, of course, pulls her own gun ... this being your typical American family nighttime situation.

You really have to see this snippet from "PC Principal Final Justice" to appreciate all its glory:

"No means no, Bill Cosby!" Oh. My. Goodness.

It would be hilarious, if it weren't so terrifying -- and all too close to the truth. The awful mass murder in San Bernardino is only the most recent awful mass murder in this country. Every day, 88 Americans die due to gun violence and hundreds more are injured. There's been a shooting at a school once per week since the massacre at Sandy Hook. Something has to change.
