Leah Messer Is Reportedly 'Devastated' After Losing Custody of Her Girls

She may not have been the picture of the ideal mom over the past year, but it's hard not to feel bad for Leah Messer. After Leah lost custody of her twin daughters Ali and Aleeah to ex-husband Corey Simms this week, it's probably safe to say she's pretty upset. And according to someone close to the Teen Mom 2 star? Leah is heartbroken to lose her girls

After his appearance on The Rachael Ray Show this week, Dr. Drew -- whom any Teen Mom fan knows as the guy who moderates the reunion shows on MTV -- talked about Leah backstage, and how he thinks she's doing now that the custody battle is over.

Apparently, when he saw Leah at the reunion, she seemed to be getting better, and committed to making a better life for herself. Unfortunately, though, it wasn't enough, and at this point, Dr. Drew is just hoping she doesn't relapse back into her old ways.

"I don't know if this recent issue with the child custody is going to set her back, but I certainly wish her the best," Dr. Drew told the Rachael Ray crew backstage. "She is working very hard and this has been a terribly painful and stressful time for her. So, let's all wish her the best."

Poor Leah! We have a feeling she could use a hug right about now.

Hopefully she uses this setback as motivation to get her life together so she can have her girls back full-time someday. We know she can do it!
