'Bachelor' Alum Bob Guiney Is Engaged (PHOTO)

Get ready for a blast from the past. A Bachelor OG has found love, despite having a tough road from reality TV show disappointments to divorce. Sweetheart Bob Guiney announced he is engaged and well on his way to finding his own happy ending.

Guiney was a contestant on the very first season of The Bachelorette, the one where Trista ultimately chose Ryan Sutter, with whom she went on to have an awesome marriage. After being eliminated, Guiney was cast as the Bachelor on the show's fourth season, but his relationship with winner Estella Gardinier didn't pan out and they broke up a few months after the show ended.

He ultimately married Rebecca Budig, an actress on All My Children, but they split up in 2010. His professional life has been a lot happier — he hosts a reality show called Date My House and has a cool gig hosting a panel called Guys Tell All for the Today show with Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb. The 44-year-old shocked everyone by responding to Kathie Lee's quip about how he's "the so sad, the still-divorced Bob Guiney" by announcing: "Guys, I gotta tell ya, I'm actually engaged now."

Awesome! And the lucky woman is Jessica Canyon, whom he reportedly proposed to on Labor Day:

True love is ageless and can happen no matter how many failed relationships someone has had — if anything, the experiences make Guiney a more clued-in partner. I've always considered him the best Bachelor of all time because he was so much more than a cute face — his personality made him seem like someone you could picture both dating and making your best friend.

Congrats to him and Jessica — here's hoping they stand the test of time.
