Bindi Irwin's 'DWTS' Tribute to Her Dad Brought the House to Tears (VIDEO)

She brought down the house last night. Bindi Irwin's emotional tribute to her late father on Dancing with the Stars on Monday night brought tears to all our eyes, as we remembered Steve Irwin and also got a chance to see him through his adoring daughter's eyes.

This week's theme on the show was focusing the stars' most pivotal moments in their lives, and of course Bindi chose to honor her dad, who died in 2006. In the pre-filmed package, you could already tell it was going to be a tearjerker.

"What shaped me the most would probably be when my dad passed away. It's been nine years and I've never really dwelled on that point," the 17-year-old conservationist shared. "I think I'm ready to tell that story."

She and her pro-partner Derek Hough performed a contemporary dance to a cover of "Every Breath You Take" by the Police, and the scored a well-deserved perfect 10 from Bruno Tonioli, who told her that he felt her father there with her every step of the way.

Just take a look at this -- be sure to grab some tissues, because you're going to need them.

Bindi said that it was one of the most emotional weeks of her life, practicing that routine, and that it took her years to really understand that her dad was never coming back.

She also shared a sweet moment with her dance partner backstage before they took the floor to perform. She told People that as the show was playing the pre-recorded package for the audience, Derek covered her ears and talked her through it so she wouldn't pay attention. She held it together, and knew that she could let the emotion out at the end.

And we all bawled with her. What a beautiful way to remember and honor her dad.
