Kim Zolciak Suffers Mini Stroke Following 'DWTS' Performance (PHOTO)

Dancing with the Stars contestant Kim Zolciak share some scary news with her Instagram followers this morning. Kim Z suffered a mini stroke! Yikes, is this working mom under too much pressure?

In her Instagram post Zolciak said she took a red eye directly from DWTS to her home in Atlanta and soon after suffered a Transient Ischemic Attack (TIA). She lost sensation on the left side of her body and she couldn't speak. Can you imagine how terrifying?

Zolciak was hospitalized and is recovering and expecting to leave today. No word yet on whether she'll continue with DWTS.

According to the American Heart Association, it's actually kind of a misnomer to call a TIA a "mini stroke." It's more like a warning stroke. Unlike a real stroke, a TIA is a temporary blockage that usually lasts five minutes or less and doesn't result in permanent damage. So that's a relief for Kim and her family.

A TIA is a strong warning sign, though, and it's a good thing Kim's husband, daughter, and daughter's boyfriend got her to he ER right away. Hopefully she's talking with a doctor about treatment to keep this -- and anything more serious -- from happening again.

Zolciak had been working especially hard on DWTS this week and it showed in her score of 18 out of 30 points. But you have to wonder if she's been working too hard. It definitely gives you a sense of the pressure everyone on the show must feel. Is it too much?

No doubt Zolciak must have some other health issues that contributed to the TIA. We just hope she's taking good care of herself. DWTS is just a show. She's got a whole family who needs her to stay healthy and alive for a good long time.
