Amy Poehler Brings the Questions 'Smart Girls Ask' to the Emmys Red Carpet (VIDEOS)

She may have lost the Emmy award on Sunday night, but Amy Poehler absolutely won the Internet. Not only did she have the cajones to wear a hoodie in the audience when her category was announced,  but Poehler also changed the way female celebrities are treated on the red carpet for the better.

The Parks and Recreation star donned a sweatshirt and sunglasses while Julia Louis-Dreyfus took the award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series for Veep, and she was a boss.

It may have something to do with that fact that had already won the night (and our hearts!) with her #SmartGirlsAsk campaign on social media.

After the success of last year's #AskHerMore campaign, Poehler teamed up with her Smart Girls organization and Twitter to encourage people to ask better questions of ladies on the red carpet than what designer dress they were wearing. Regular users, along with super celebs like Britney Spears and even political figures like Michelle Obama and Laura Bush tweeted their questions with the hashtag.
