Caitlyn Jenner Confronts Kris Jenner on 'I Am Cait' & They Get All Their Issues Out in the Open

Through Caitlyn Jenner's transition to female, Kris Jenner has struggled with the idea that the man she was married to for 25 years is now what seems to be a different person to her entirely. And, like E! teased in the previous episode of I Am Cait, Kris came over for what Caitlyn called a "heart talk," and they were able to get a lot of their issues out in the open.

And even though it obviously wasn't easy for either of them, they were able to put everything on the table without holding back, like how Kris didn't invite Caitlyn to Kylie's graduation because she was still hurt about what Caitlyn said about her in the Vanity Fair article.

"I didn't understand why you felt the need to criticize or make me feel bad," Kris said. "Did you live in the same house that I lived in, because it was f—king amazing. I worked hard, and I took care of you for decades."

Of course, Caitlyn reminded Kris that she didn't leave her thinking that all of this was going to happen when they divorced, but now that she's where she is, she just wants her family to be happy for her --  not too much to ask. However, it is something that Kris is still struggling with.

And what upsets Kris most about the transition? "You're sensitive and amazing to all these new people in your life, you're just not sensitive and amazing to this side of the family you left behind," she explained.

It was painful to see this conversation happen, but it was clear that it needed to happen. It's good that they were able to speak so openly with each other, even though these were all difficult topics for both women to bring up.

The good news? They were able to come to a friendly resolution -- including a selfie to seal this new stage of their friendship, which is obviously the Kardashian way.

"I think that it's really important for the kids to have you as a big part of their life," Kris said. "I think that we just have to get used to our new normal. I just want to get to a place where it's comfortable for us to share celebrations together."

Here's hoping things continue to improve for them. They have so much history that they shouldn't give up on so many years of friendship now!
