Leah Messer Called Out for Putting Her Kids in Danger

You'd think that being under near-constant public scrutiny, this lady would take a little more care when it comes to keeping her kids safe. But Leah Messer was reportedly caught driving her young children around without proper car seats.

It's especially concerning, considering her ongoing custody battle with her first ex-husband, Corey Simms, over their twins Ali and Aleeah Grace. He's been calling her out all season on Teen Mom 2 for being an unfit mom, including skipping doctors' appointments for the girls, and racking up multiple tardies at school.

An insider told Life & Style magazine that Leah did not have her 5-year-old daughters properly restrained in their safety seats while taking them to school recently.

"A teacher called the cops when she spotted Leah pulling up to the school without the twins in car seats," the source reported.

They also claimed that Leah sent Ali to school without her wheelchair one day, and she was unable to make it out of the building in a timely fashion due to her muscular dystrophy. Leah's excuse was that it was broken and Corey won't pay to have it fixed, but it's hard to know what's up for real.

We just hope that these rumors aren't true -- or Leah is going to find herself in court again over custody. No way will Corey let things like this slip.
