Kailyn Lowry's New Children's Book Is Already Causing Her to Lose Fans

She called it! After announcing her upcoming children's book, Love Is Bubblegum, Kailyn Lowry is getting dissed for writing a book about love. It's no secret to Teen Mom 2 fans that things have been rocky in Kail's love life over the years, especially this season with hubby Javi Marroquin, so obviously she's not allowed to write a book about what love means to children.

The reality star and mom-of-two told The Ashley's Reality Roundup, "I've gotten so much hate from the way I come off on this season [of Teen Mom 2] ... Some people say it's 'ironic' that I would do a children’s book on love."

Ugh. She knew it was coming though -- she told Us Weekly recently, "My haters ... they are going to be questioning the title and how can I explain love to a little one or my kids when I don't even display love for my husband on the show."

She explained, "My kids were and are my first true loves. I never really knew what it was like to love somebody unconditionally until I had my kids."

As for the book itself, Kail says, "It's a concept book for kids describing love -- what it is, what it looks like, how it feels."

She was inspired to write it by her 5-year-old son Isaac. She said, "I got the idea from [my son] Isaac when he asked me what love was. I didn't know how to explain in simple words for him."

So she put together a collection of quotes on love from kids ages 4 through 9, got awesome illustrator Fuuji Takashi (if that adorable cover is any indication) to draw the pictures, and voilà! A book is born.

The haters may be hating, but we know Ms. Lowry, and she is all about the love -- especially for her kids.
