'Dancing With the Stars' Season 21: Look Who's Coming Back

It's almost time for another season of Dancing With the Stars, and while we can only speculate at this point over the celebrities who may be competing for the mirror ball trophy, we have a complete list of the pros who will be participating, with at least one surprising return. Karina Smirnoff will be rejoining the show after taking season 20 off.

After taking a hiatus to promote some personal projects, the Ukrainian-American bombshell is back for season 21. She revealed, "I was a little nervous about not dancing on the show at all last season. I was doing it for the last 10 years."

During her "break," she was busy promoting her book, We're Just Not That Into You: Dating Disasters from the Trenches, and starring in the indie flick Tango Shalom. She said about the experience, "I had other things to do in my life, but not going back to the show felt like trying to see if I can walk on my own two feet! I've had obvious moments when I missed it."

We missed her too, and are glad she's back, along with some other familiar faces. Good Morning America announced the pro-dancer lineup on Wednesday, which included Derek Hough, who was injured last season. It seems he's made a full recovery -- thank goodness!

Joining Smirnoff and Hough are Mark Ballas, Artem Chigvintsev, Allison Holker, Sharna Burgess, Peta Murgatroyd, Witney Carson, and the defending champ, Val Chmerkovskiy.

The celebrity partners will be announced on September 2, so stay tuned! Not even the dancers have any idea whom they'll be paired with. Smirnoff revealed, "I'm excited and a little nervous ... Normally I can at least narrow it down a little bit, like whether it will be an athlete or an actor, but I have no idea."
