Nick Viall Opens Up About Being ABC's Next 'Bachelor'

Nick ViallTalk about really being willing to put your heart on the line over and over and over again! Despite being a two-time Bachelorette loser, er, finalist, Nick Viall sure sounds like he's up for a shot as The Bachelor

Though rumors have been swirling that the coveted lead role is a "battle of the Bens," with Ben Higgins and Ben Zorn in a dead heat, Viall would still like a chance to leave the mansion with a lady by his side and a shot at his own happily ever after.

Wow, love him or hate him, you've got to admire the fact that he's willing to go on national television and put himself out there for a third time! Here's how he explains it:

It's one of those things, where you know it's not easy. I think we've seen it with some of the previous leads. It's a difficult process and it doesn’t always work out, but then again, you have some amazing love stories -- Sean and Catherine, Desiree and Chris, and people like that. It's one of those things I’d have to obviously spend a lot of time [talking about] with my family and friends, but I can’t say that I wouldn't. It’s certainly something that I’d have to take into serious consideration, because I want to take it seriously. I really want to do it only if I felt like it could really work for me.

After getting shot down by Andi Dorfman, Viall took a lot of heat for throwing her under the bus when he revealed that they slept together. But fans seem to be a bit more sympathetic to the software salesman from Wisconsin. (We suppose getting rejected mid-proposal in front of the entire world softens people's opinions.)

What do the folks at ABC think? Only time will tell. Nothing against him, but I think we've seen enough of Nick and something tells us he'll do pretty well on his own outside the world of reality TV!
