Chris Soules Proudly Shows Off the New 'Ladies' in His Life & They Definitely Don’t Look Like Whitney (PHOTO)

With all of the Bachelor/Bachelorette focus on Kaitlyn Bristowe, Nick Viall, and Shawn Booth lately, some of us may have forgotten that one former Bachelor is still single and looking for love. Chris Soules isn't lonely, but it has absolutely nothing to do with having a girlfriend. The 33-year-old farmer from Iowa has returned to his Midwestern roots (for the time being) and seems to be getting in touch with a part of himself some of us would have never guessed he missed.

After falling in love with Bachelor contestant Whitney Bischoff, getting engaged, breaking up with her, appearing on Dancing with the Stars, joining the cast of Worst Cooks in America: Celebrity Edition, and suddenly finding opportunities to mingle with Hollywood stars at trendy venues, Soules must have decided he needed a break from superstardom.

For the past few weeks, the Prince of Farming has been posting photos on Instagram that show he has returned to his home and is making the most of his time with family and friends. His latest photo, in which he jokes about not being lonely, is a tribute to his beloved cattle:

As if to prove to the world that he's still the same guy he was before The Bachelor, Soules has been documenting his daily routine on the farm ...

... giving us a glimpse into his family life ...

... and looking really good all the while:

Per her request, turning my niece into a sand mermaid... With help from friends. #lakemichigan

I can't speak for Soules's future plans, but if his intention is to find love, I think this is the perfect way to go about it.

The hardworking Iowan is far more likely to attract a partner who is ideal for him when he's pursuing the life he feels most comfortable living. I'm not saying he won't or shouldn't return to Hollywood, but when he does, he'll probably feel more balanced, happier, and in touch with himself after having spent quality time back home with his family and cows.
