Chelsea Houska Gushes About the Two 'Men' She Just Can't Live Without

Chelsea Houska and Cole DeBoer

With the new season of MTV's Teen Mom 2 kicking off Thursday, July 9, Chelsea Houska spoke exclusively to The Stir about her boyfriend, Cole DeBoer, who we're finally going to meet this season -- and about the other important male in her life who's going to make his television debut too.

Chelsea first gushed about boyfriend Cole, saying, "He's awesome. He's so respectful and just so good, like just a genuine, good guy." When we all agreed good-looking, too, she jokingly added, "He’s going to love all these interviews. I texted him and said, 'Everyone says you're so cute!'"

And it sounds like her 5-year-old daughter, Aubree, is smitten as well. "She is obsessed with him," Chelsea says. "And he's great with her."

Viewers will get to see some of Cole on the new season -- something that Chelsea admits is a change of pace from what we're used to seeing in her story lines. "This season is different for me because I'm in a relationship, and that never happens!" she joked.

As anyone who follows Chelsea on Instagram would know, there is another new male in her life -- and we'll get to see him this season too. Chelsea and Cole recently adopted a pet pig named Petey, whom Chelsea describes as "so smart" and "such an angel."

But don't mistake him for the teacup kind. (Teacup pigs -- and other teacup animals -- are often sold under false pretenses, with many of them underfed to stunt their growth, among other abuses.)

She said, "A lot people get [pigs] thinking they're mini and stay mini." But the 23-year-old said she thinks he'll probably grow to be a hundred pounds or more. "I don't want people to watch the show and be like, 'Oh, pig!' and think it's going to be easy and then go buy one." Chelsea says she researched them for a long time -- and that they're definitely not for everybody.

But luckily for Chelsea, Cole didn't fall into that category.

"I've wanted [a pig] for so long, so then when I met someone and he was like, 'Yeah, I want to [get one],' I was like, I mean, Jesus, are you my soul mate?"

Sounds like soul-mate material to me! We wish Chelsea and her loved ones all the best, and we're looking forward to seeing what's in store for them this season.

Would you think of someone who wanted to adopt an animal with you as your soul mate?
