Leah Calvert May Lose Custody of Her Twins After Rehab Stint

It looks like Leah Calvert's custody battle with Corey Simms isn't over after all. The Teen Mom 2 stars had finally reached a custody agreement last December, but that was before Leah went to rehab in May to deal with her emotional issues.

Leah's also allegedly been abusing prescription painkillers, which has made Corey understandably concerned for their 5-year-old twins Ali and Aleeah. He's been working with West Virginia family lawyer Rusty Webb, and the rumor is that he wants full custody.

Webb confirmed that he's representing Simms, but would not comment on the case. Silly attorney-client privilege!

Anyway, an insider told RadarOnline, "With her drug and emotional issues, Corey doesn't think Leah is in any shape to be a good mother right now ... He will stop at nothing to make sure his girls are in safe hands."

Leah obviously cares about her girls too, and even reportedly delayed her stay at the Utah facility by two weeks when she heard of her ex-husband's plans to fight her for more custody. Thankfully, Corey agreed to wait until she was done with the 30-day treatment before making any final decisions.

Meanwhile, he's caring for the girls while their mom is away. Since 2-year-old Adalyn is with Leah's second ex-husband Jeremy Calvert, we hope that Leah comes back healthy and ready to be mom again -- it's got to be hard for the sisters to be apart.

Do you think Leah's rehab stint will help or hurt her custody case?
