'Gilmore Girls' Reboot Rumors Are Flying: 9 Things We Hope Are in the Script

If we're being entirely honest, we never really let go of Gilmore Girls and you didn't either. It's impossible. But that might not be a bad thing because there MIGHT (***might***) be a reboot in the works. Might.

That's coming from Scott Patterson (whom we know and love as Luke Danes), who spilled to a podcast called Gilmore Guys.

"I don't want to mislead the fans," Luke -- uh, I mean Scott -- told the podcast. "I will say this, there are talks going on at the moment. I can't really go into any details, but there is some activity. I'm hopeful, and I'm in."

Okay, okay, so. We don't know anything yet, but that doesn't mean we can't obsess over it just a little.

THAT SAID, we've been thinking about it since the news came out and already decided exactly what we want (and don't want) to see in our hypothetical Gilmore Girls reboot. Here's the incomplete list:

  1. Five continuous minutes (per hour, minimum) of Michel complaining about things.

Sarcasm is a must. Relevance to the plot unnecessary.

  2. Luke and Lorelai are together.

  3. Paris.

I don't care where and I don't care how, but more Paris all the time, please.

  4. Dean dies.

Or, okay, fine. He doesn't have to die as long as he doesn't end up with Rory. Ever. Under any circumstance.

  5. Sookie is allowed at least 10 minutes of quality comedy time.

Girlfriend deserves it. Melissa McCarthy is hilarious and she deserves her time to shine on the GG set.

  6. Subplot where we find out Emily is actually a serial killer whose victims are maids who set the wrong fork on the table and estranged cousins.

    Kidding!!!! Kind of.

  7. Lorelai and Rory go on a juice cleanse.

  8. Mrs. Kim becomes an Internet meme and has to deal with the fame.

The more she disapproves of the attention, the more attention she gets. This is brilliant, guys.

  9. Rory and Paris fall in love.

Don't hate it -- there was low-key sexual tension between them for the entire series. EVEN RORY ADMITS IT.

If there were a reboot, what would you like to see happen?
