'Game of Thrones' Sneak Peek: Arya's Back As Things Get Seriously Weird in Braavos (VIDEO)

game of thrones house of black and whiteAfter what some would say was a rather, um, slow, not super-exciting season 5 premiere of Game of Thrones, episode 2, "The House of Black and White," should hopefully build some more momentum after catching us up with mostly all the characters during episode 1, "The Wars to Come." And the preview for episode 2 gives fans an exciting sneak peek at another side of Westeros. Spoilers from the premiere ahead! Also some minor book spoilers, but nothing too crazy!

Last week, we didn't even get so much as a glimpse of Arya, but episode 2 is named after the place she finds herself at an extremely mysterious place in Braavos. How can she possibly defend herself against men who, well ... change faces?!

Here's the official synopsis:

Arya (Maisie Williams) arrives in Braavos. Pod (Daniel Portman) and Brienne (Gwendoline Christie) run into trouble on the road. Cersei fears for her daughter’s safety in Dorne as Ellaria Sand (Indira Varma) seeks revenge for Oberyn’s death. Stannis (Stephen Dillane) tempts Jon. An adviser tempts Daenerys.

Again, oh so helpful. But this and the video do show that we'll finally get to see Oberyn Martell's home, even though it would have been great to simply see more of Oberyn Martell instead.

But no one from Dorne is happy that the Mountain literally crushed the Red Viper's head in a vicious duel, and Cersei, who was forced to send her daughter Myrcella to Dorne, is afraid that they'll take revenge somehow. We'll also see a new character, Oberyn's brother Doran, played by Alexander Siddig. If you'll recall, Oberyn believed that the Mountain raped and killed his sister, Elia, which was why he came to King's Landing in the first place. There's certainly a lot going on in Dorne, and how the show will balance yet another world within Westeros remains to be seen.

And it seems Drogon is alive and well too, as he makes a cameo in the trailer!

Think episode 2 will be able to top the premiere? Let's hope so. Check out the teaser here:

Are you looking forward to finally seeing Arya again?
