Catelynn Lowell Writes Tear-Jerking Letter to Carly's Adoptive Parents

We are so glad to hear that Tyler Baltierra and Catelynn Lowell have resolved their issues with Carly's adoptive parents, Brandon and Teresa Davis, but that doesn't mean their troubles are over. There's always the possibility of never seeing their biological daughter again, if Brandon and Teresa don't believe it's in her best interest.

Cate and Ty have an open adoption with the Davises, which means that they get semi-frequent updates about Carly, and annual visits with her. But as Catelynn said in a bonus clip from MTV from this week's episode of Teen Mom OG, that could all change in an instant.

Catelynn took some time to write an email to Brandon and Teresa, to ask about another face-to-face visit with Carly. "It's been a year since we saw her," Tyler lamented. "I'm getting antsy. 'Cause they could always just say, 'You know what, maybe this year isn't looking good for us.'"

"Nothing in the adoption is legally binding. It's all up to what we plan or what they plan," Catelynn added. Thankfully, her email must have done the trick, because Brandon and Teresa agreed to meet up!

Take a look at what Catelynn wrote to her birth daughter's parents:

Hey guys. Hope all is well, can't believe Carly is in Kindergarten and five years old, time just seems like it's flying by. Tyler and I have been talking and it's been a year so we were just wondering if we could get together soon. We will do whatever works for you all and willing to do whatever makes it easier for you guys. Hope to hear from you soon, love you a lot.

I love how completely open and vulnerable Catelynn makes herself when it comes to Carly. She totally respects Brandon and Teresa as Carly's parents, but still feels that love and connection with her firstborn child.

Tyler and Catelynn have become outspoken advocates for adoption, and they couldn't be better examples. Even though things get tough sometimes (like the whole disagreement about sharing Carly's pictures online), they manage to work it out and treat each other with respect.

Do you think Catelynn and Tyler have a good relationship with Brandon and Teresa?
