Britt Nilsson Insults Kaitlyn Bristowe in Anticipation of 'Bachelorette' Decision

Kaitlyn Bristowe Britt Nilsson

Ever since the announcement was made on Monday night that ABC will have two Bachelorettes for the upcoming season, the general consensus seems to be that exactly no one thinks this is a good idea. It's safe to assume they chose to go this route because fans were pretty divided between Britt Nilsson and Kaitlyn Bristowe as far as who they'd rather see try and find true love out of a pool of 25 men, but still ... it sucks!

And while the two of them tried to put on a happy face on the "After the Final Rose" special, we can't help but wonder if both Kaitlyn and Britt are kinda bummed out that they aren't doing the job solo.

They're doing their best to make us believe they genuinely like each other and are ok with whatever the outcome is, but in a new interview with People, Britt clearly dissed Kaitlyn, once again proving she just might be the most conceited woman on the planet.

She said:

There are insecurities [for me] because I really like Kaitlyn! She's very likable, and she's gorgeous obviously. Part of me is scared, but the more I think about it, [I realize] it's just going to be what it's going to be. If Kaitlyn's husband is in that group of men, it's going to work out for her, and I'll go home and I'll have to be okay with that. But I'm excited!

Um, am I the only one who can totally read between the lines of that statement? By saying, "if Kaitlyn's husband is in that group of men," she's basically insinuating that the only way Kaitlyn will stand a chance at being The Bachelorette over her is if the stars are aligned correctly and fate steps in, or whatever. And then by adding in the "But I'm excited ..." bit, it's like she's saying, "Let's get real -- there's no way these dudes are going to pick her over me, so what do I have to worry about?"

More from The Stir: Kaitlyn Bristowe & Britt Nilsson's 'Bachelorette' Deal Is More Unfair Than We Thought

Ugh. Just when we thought Britt couldn't possibly get any more self-centered, she all but calls Kaitlyn a lost cause and makes us roll our eyes once again.

She's totally assuming that she's absolutely going to land the gig, which unfortunately will likely turn out to be the case if the men who have been cast did not watch Chris Soules' season of The Bachelor. Maybe we'll get lucky and producers will show them a bit of the footage before they go into that opening cocktail party so they have more to base their decision on. But if not? Kaitlyn had better be offered a spot on Bachelor in Paradise as a consolation prize given how badly she's been screwed by ABC.

Do you think Britt is conceited? Who do you think the men will choose?
