'Sharknado 3' Cast Is Much Scarier Than Man-Eating Sharks on Shore

Just when we thought the Sharknado franchise couldn't possibly get any more far-fetched, the most unbelievable folks have been cast as the President and Vice President of the United States for the third flick.

Syfy, the channel reaping the rewards of Sharknado's success, announced Dallas Mavericks owner and Shark Tank star Mark Cuban will tackle the role of POTUS while political commentator and all-around rabble rouser Ann Coulter will portray the Veep.

Could they have chosen a more random pair?

I love the silliness and good-natured fun of the Sharknado franchise but Mark and Ann? That's a big Sharknad-NO. I'll give 'em Mark because he is, after all, a "shark" on his ABC show, but Ann feels like a distraction from the goofiness that will literally be twisting around them. It's an interesting choice, but not one I'm particularly looking forward to. I'd cast anyone over Ann...even Sarah Palin! At least we know she can make fun of herself.

Syfy has already leaked that other famous faces with cameos in Sharknado 3 will be Chris Jericho, 'N Sync's Chris Kirkpatrick, Bo Derek (playing mom to Tara Reid's character!), and Jerry Springer.

What will they think of next?

Sharknado 3 will premiere on Syfy in July 2015.

What do you think of these casting choices? Will you watch?
