'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' Recap: Brandi Glanville Totally Embarrasses Herself

Brandi Glanville Beverly Hills

This week on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Brandi Glanville finally made amends with Lisa Vanderpump -- but it wasn't anything I expected. I mean, unless we count the content of the dream journal I keep underneath my pillow and only write in whilst buzzed on chardonnay.

It was Lisa V's birthday and her husband Ken Todd was throwing her a massive surprise party. BTW, while we're talking about it, Lisa claims that she was totally surprised, but I'm calling baloney. Then again, this could be the perfidious effects of Botox rearing their line-less heads once more. Lisa seemed delighted (if not bowled over with shock). I think it was a sweet gesture, but I have to be honest, if my husband threw me a party at a restaurant I own and spend a considerable amount of my time working in, I would be, how shall we say, miffed -- especially if I was promised another restaurant and had been looking forward to it.

But, thanks to the wheel of fate, I was not born Lisa, and she seemed more than okay with swanning about the informal dinner garden of her own devising. Weirdly, in among her dear family and friends sat Brandi. She was there because Ken invited her so that she wouldn't feel "left out." If I didn't know better, I'd think Ken was trying to stir up a little birthday drama.

If that was his plan (and let's be real, it was), he was SOL. That's because Miss Brandi was on her best behavior even though she really, really didn't want to be. She was sober and sweet and funny, and when Lisa archly suggested that Brandi sing her apology, the girl went for it! When she was done with her cringe-worthy performance, she made a big show of mocking the other 'wives for singing. This was clearly a cover for just how embarrassed she felt. Brandi, Brandi, Brandi. It's okay. No one on this show is cool. Except for, like, maybe Giggy. Maybe.

What did you think of Brandi's apology?
