'Game of Thrones' Season 5 Trailer Leaves Fans Desperate (VIDEO)

game of thrones season 5Well, this is almost as good as an official show trailer, right? Game of Thrones season 5 is gearing up, and the folks behind the best show on television have just released a trailer for, um, a documentary about the show, called A Day in the Life. It will not tide fans over until the April 12, 2015 premiere date, but we'll take what we can get.


According to reports and, well, the trailer, A Day in the Life is a half-hour documentary that covers one day of production of season 5. Fans will get to check out filming in three different countries: Belfast, Northern Ireland; Dubrovnik, Croatia; Sevilla and Osuna, Spain. Who doesn't want to go to all these places?? It gives everyone a chance to get a peek at “the epic sets, renowned cast, and global scale of Thrones, as well as the more intimate and individual challenges of our subjects, giving the audience a new perspective on one of the most elaborate productions in television history.”Well, now we have a 30-second trailer for that documentary, and like everything else Game of Thrones-related, it leaves us desperate for more. Might as well take the fix, but nothing will cure our angst like the season premiere on April 12. The trailer does feature Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) and Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey), some shots of Dorne, where poor old Prince Oberyn Martell (Pedro Pascal) was from, and a look at Jon Snow (Kit Harington) kicking ass per usual.

Sadly, no look at Tyrion after his miraculous escape from certain death. Sorry, spoilers.
