'My Husband's Not Gay' Show Looks Worse Than It Sounds (VIDEO)

From the folks who brought you My Five Wives, 90 Day Fiance, and Sex Sent Me to the ER, TLC has plans to deliver a whole new level of low in reality television this January with, wait for it ... My Husband's Not Gay.

What the what?

Yes, you heard me correctly: TLC (which at least used to stand for The Learning Channel, mind you) will air a special featuring four dudes from the Salt Lake City, Utah, area who are all either married to or in committed relationships with women ... but admit they are also attracted to men. But that does not make them gay, folks.

In an exclusive clip on The Wrap, we meet the four gents in question and this whole thing just leaves me completely perplexed. "I get a little defensive when somebody calls my husband gay," says one woman in the baffling trailer.

Well then why would you allow cameras into your life to document an entire televised special on the subject? Think, people, think.

This is offensive on so many different levels, the most obvious being that it's perpetuating the notion that being gay is wrong or somehow demeaning. Frankly what's demeaning is this airing on national television -- for the world to see.

If you're so inclined, My Husband's Not Gay will air on Sunday, January 11 at 10 PM on TLC.

Do you think TLC has crossed the line?
