Something tells us the new season surrounding this reality family will bring up old wounds. Mama June continues to claim ex Sugar Bear abused her daughter Pumpkin, with Honey Boo Boo speaking out about her father -- alleging he's practically "nonexistent" in her life.

Mama June got candid while live-tweeting during a recent "From Not to Hot" special that looked back at the first season.

This isn't the first time Mama June accused Sugar Bear of putting his hands on her daughter.

Last April, the celeb mom told Wendy Williams that Sugar Bear was abusive for some time. "There's a lot of stuff that was hid for many years," Mama June revealed. "Pumpkin's [injured] eye was his fault. The car wreck. Several things that happened on Here Comes Honey Boo Boo were covered up was because of him."

Sugar Bear has always maintained his innocence, telling Entertainment Tonight at the time, "June is saying these things because she's pissed at me. I never hurt any kid."

Sadly, things don't seem to be great between Sugar Bear and his daughter Alana "Honey Boo Boo" Thompson, as the 12-year-old claims he barely keeps in touch.-placeholder

Honey Boo Boo recently told People, "[Sugar Bear] calls me every once in a while. He doesn't really call me that much, which is kind of sad because he's supposed to be my father and I think if he's my father, you should call me more."

"There's so much hurt from the past that has brought us to where we're at today, so honestly for me, he's got to show her -- not me -- that he wants to step up and be a father and that he wants to do what he needs to do," Mama June added.
