'Teen Mom' Star Involved in Seriously Scary Car Crash

Ryan EdwardsRyan Edwards was involved in a scary looking car accident on Friday, December 12. The Teen Mom star was photographed at the crash site in Chattanooga, Tennessee with a neck brace and bloodied bandages around his face, but his baby mama Maci Bookout took to Twitter the next day to report that Ryan is OK.

TMZ reported that the cause of the accident is still under investigation, but multiple witnesses reported seeing the reality star's car cross double yellow lines to smash headfirst into another woman's car. He was also reportedly speeding at the time.

The 25-year-old opted not to go to the hospital via ambulance, but had a friend pick him up instead. The other driver was taken in to be checked out, but there's no word on how serious her injuries were.

Ryan's ex-girlfriend and the mother of his 6-year-old son Bentley tweeted on Saturday that he was OK.

Edwards and Bookout rose to fame after appearing on MTV's docudrama 16 and Pregnant, and later in the first Teen Mom series, which also followed costars Catelynn Lowell, Amber Portwood, and Farrah Abraham.

They had a volatile relationship, but seem to have settled into a comfortable co-parenting routine over the years. Will this affect their custody arrangement? Possibly, depending on the cause of the crash.

Judging from his Twitter and Instagram accounts, it looks as though Ryan has been going through something. There are a couple different quotes about grief, learning to be alone, and "ungrateful bitches." Causing a dangerous car accident probably isn't going to help him with the feels he's feeling.

Do you think this will affect Ryan Edwards' visitation schedule with Bentley?
