Leah Calvert & Corey Simms' New Custody Arrangement Is Already Getting Nasty

Corey Simms twins

Damn. That was fast. It's only been a few days since a judge decided that Leah Calvert and Corey Simms will share custody of their twins, but already there is a report stating that Leah is unhappy with the new arrangement, and she isn't planning on hiding her displeasure. A source told RadarOnline, "Leah is upset with Corey and Miranda. She didn't want to lose any time with the girls."

The insider also adds that Leah is planning on having a separate birthday party for the twins that Corey and Miranda will not be invited to. The girls turn 5 on December 16, and it's likely they will wind up having two parties because of Leah's decision, which I'm sure neither one of them will complain about.

The assumption is also that Jeremy Calvert will not be attending the party thrown by Leah, well, because that would be super awkward given the fact that he supposedly has proof that Leah cheated on him.

But let's get back to the whole custody situation turning sour in a hurry. Ugh. It's kind of hard to pick a side on this one. On the one hand, Corey is the girls' father and a judge has ordered them to be with him for half the week, so it's not like Leah can really argue with a court order.

But looking at the whole situation from her perspective, it's easy to see why she feels the need to have her own party for the twins to keep some distance from Corey and Miranda, especially since they will now basically be sharing custody of the girls equally. It can't be easy to know her daughters will be away from her for a good bit of the week, so it's understandable for her to feel a bit of animosity until she gets more accustomed to the new arrangement.

Hopefully for Ali's and Aleeah's sake, however, Corey and Leah can put aside their differences and keep things as amicable as possible from here on out. Conflict isn't healthy for anyone involved, and they'll all be a hell of a lot happier going forward if they can somehow manage to get along.

Do you think Leah has a right to be upset?
