'Bachelorette' Fans Slam Andi Dorfman for Seriously 'Shady' Move

Andi Dorfman

Yikes! She and Josh Murray have kind of faded out of the spotlight since their engagement on The Bachelorette finale, but it looks as though they're right back smack dab in the middle of a media frenzy, now that Andi Dorfman is designing T-shirts for a company called Southward Apparel. In what was no doubt an attempt to receive a ton of support and enthusiasm from her fans, Andi shared her debut piece of clothing via Instagram, but much to her dismay, she's being slammed to pieces for the damn thing.

I know. The shirt is pretty cute, right? I mean, who doesn't love wearing something happy, positive, and full of ... love?

Well, apparently some folks think that by venturing into the clothing biz, Andi just proved once and for all that she's milking every ounce of fame she can out of her gig as The Bachelorette, especially since she has yet to return to her job at the District Attorney's office.

Some of the more colorful comments she received after sharing this pic include:

"WTH? And everyone thought you were in it for love. LOL."

"I thought you were an attorney. Lame."

"What happened to being a prosecutor? Is this your new gig or part time?"

Oh, and then there are those people who are all bent out of shape not because of the shirt itself, but because she's pimping out a tiny piece of clothing that costs $48. (Gah.)

While I totally get why some of Andi's fans are a little disappointed, come on -- can you really blame her for trying out a different career path, given the notoriety she gained from being on TV? Um, correct me if I'm wrong, but wouldn't we all love to simplify our lives a bit and have more flexible schedules when it comes to our jobs? Something tells me life at the DA's office wasn't exactly stress-free, so if Andi is truly ready to marry Josh and start a family, why shouldn't she try and make a living in a less hectic way?

I'll be the first to admit that I haven't always been Andi's biggest fan, but for crying out loud, anyone who is criticizing her for designing a stupid T-shirt is just plain mean and incredibly jealous.

(Rant over.)

Do you think Andi is a sell-out?
