'Dancing With the Stars' Recap: Fan Favorite Eliminated Just Shy of the Finals

Uhhhhhhh. Can someone please tell me where in the heck this season of Dancing With the Stars went? It feels like it started a week or two ago, but already, we know which couples will be competing in the finals next week, bringing season 19 to a close. And while the competition has been fierce right from the get-go, tonight's performances made it obvious that this season's contestants have really put their hearts and souls into every single dance.

OMG. How emotional were some of the routines this evening? I felt myself tearing up a bit more than once, and for very different reasons.

Alfonso Ribeiro powered through the pain of his back injury and totally came out on top. Who else totally fell for the way ABC made it seem like he and Witney Carson would have to drop out of the competition? They pulled a fast one on us for sure.

And good grief -- Janel Parrish and Val Chmerkovskiy have so much chemistry that it's impossible to think of their relationship being anything more than the real deal. (If it's a showmance, I might die.)

And then there's Sadie Robertson, who has totally come out of her shell with Mark Ballas as her teacher, to the point where you have to wonder if she'll ever head back to Louisiana.

Oh, and how about Tommy Chong? Up until now, I've totally rated him as the underdog, but he really upped the ante tonight, don't you think?

But despite his extra effort, it wasn't enough to pull off securing a spot in the finals, and tonight was the end of the road for him and Peta Murgatroyd. As tough as it is to see him go, who else thinks the right couples are headed into next week's finale?

Personally, I'm rooting for Janel and Val. That being said, all of the remaining duos are totally deserving of the mirror ball trophy!

Who are you hoping wins DWTS?
