'Kourtney & Khloe Take the Hamptons' Recap: Scott Disick Does Something Totally Terrifying

Let no one ever accuse the Kardashians of showing a white-washed version of themselves on any of their shows. Sure, they keep some stuff private (as is their right), but for every glossy butt pic, they have no issue bearing the darker, dingier parts of their lives. This week on Kourtney and Khloe Take the Hamptons, Scott Disick's partying with Khloe out of town led to his hospitalization and a shocking realization.

After being discharged from the hospital, Scott talks to Kourtney on the phone about his future. The couple seems to be in agreement about one thing: Scott needs to go to rehab. It's not like this is one night of too-hard partying, Scott's already got a problem with drinking to excess. But this time was different. He mixed pills into the equation, taking an overdose of his antidepressant/sleeping pills and becoming concerned that he was going to die alone in the house.

While his vital stats were fine, the grim reality of the experience really shook him. Maybe that's a good thing. Scott has a lot of stuff he needs to unpack, and, to give the dude credit, he's the first person to admit that this is true. There's a difference between partying too hard and desperation that borders on the suicidal. While Scott did not mention wanting to kill himself, he's aware that the actions he's been taking as of late have been causing not just himself, but his whole family a lot of pain -- and that's not okay.

Kourtney and Scott have been through a lot. They aren't a perfect couple, but (just putting this out there) since the Kardashians first hit the airwaves back in the day, they are the only couple (including Kris and Bruce) who've survived. And that's for a reason. Exhibit Kourtney being able to put the petty stuff on the back-burner to try and help Scott get the treatment he needs.

Do you think Scott's reached rock bottom?
