'Gilmore Girls' Reunion With Lauren Graham & Alexis Bledel Is Happening!

Gilmore GirlsWe thought nothing could make us happier than when Gilmore Girls went streaming on Netflix, but we were wrong. What we really need for pure Lorelai and Rory fandom bliss is a reunion. Good news you guys -- a Gilmore Girls reunion is happening next year.

The ATX Television Festival in Austin will reunite Lauren Graham, Alexis Bledel, and show creator Amy Sherman-Palladino in June 2015. It's the first time the three of them will be on stage together since we said goodbye to Stars Hollow when the show went off the air in 2007.

"So after years of peace and quiet these lunatics have chosen to get the chattiest chicks in the world back under one roof? Really? Okay. You asked for it," Sherman-Palladino said in a statement. "Gilmore was the highlight of my ridiculous life. I can't wait to sit with these unbelievable broads and relive a time where sleep did not exist, where stress and coffee were mama's little helpers, and where we all dove into the deep end together to make something weird and very very cool."

Wait, is she talking about the set or the show? Because it sounds like Lauren and Alexis must've lived their parts even when not filming.

No word on whether or not they'll be joined by any of our other favorites from the show, but we're keeping our fingers crossed that Melissa McCarthy will consider making an appearance.

Are you excited to see the Gilmore Girls together again?
