Nikki Ferrell Breaks Her Silence on Juan Pablo Breakup

Juan Pablo, Nikki FerrellJuan Pablo Galavis finally officially doesn't love Nikki Ferrell. The girl who got totally jipped at the final rose ceremony on The Bachelor just confessed to Life & Style magazine that they are completely over -- and that the split happened over her birthday weekend.

We knew Juan Pabs wasn't exactly a catch, but dang! On her birthday? Who does that? Oh, I know. The same kind of guy who can't bring himself to tell the woman he supposedly loves that he actually loves her.

The reality stars dropped some hints last month that things weren't fine in paradise, when JP posted a couple selfie at the Golden Gate Bridge with some hottie who was not Nikki, and she posted a message to Instagram about wasting time on people who don't deserve it.

But then Juan Pabs posted a lovey-dovey birthday note to Nikki, who turned 28 on October 29, and we were officially confused.

Confusion no more! Nikki explained to the mag how it all went down. "It all played out over a couple of days, right before my birthday," she said.

"We were just going back and forth through texting. He was questioning the relationship and I was questioning it back. I sent him a message saying, 'We should fight for this. We should work this out.' And he didn't respond."

That's when she posted that quote to Instagram that read, "Isn't it pathetic how we waste so much time on certain people and in the end they prove that they weren't even worth a second of it." She added the caption, "Nope not one single second."

"In hindsight, I probably shouldn't have done that. I'm a tad bit impulsive," she admitted. She also said she blocked him on Twitter and even deleted him from her phone.

More from The Stir: Truth Behind Nikki Ferrell & Juan Pablo's Breakup Is Even Sadder Than We Expected

They did apparently come back together to discuss their issues but discovered that it just isn't in the cards for them right now. "We both knew we were wasting each other's time. The relationship wasn't making us happy anymore," she said. "We were both like, 'No, just no.'"

The long distance thing didn't help matters. JP is in Miami, and Nikki in Kansas City, and neither one of them was willing to make the move so they could be together. She admitted, "We weren't willing to make the sacrifices or compromises to meet in the middle and make it work."

Good for Nikki for realizing that no matter how much you may love a person, if there isn't a healthy balance of give and take, the relationship is doomed to failure.

And love him she does, even if he is more ambivalent toward her (she seriously deserves better than this guy), and tearfully told Life & Style, "He's such a caring person."

She continued, "I love him so much, and I know he feels the same way about me ... there would have to be a lot of compromising and sacrifices on both of our parts for it to work. Who knows what the future holds, but at this point in our lives, it's not working for either one of us."

Hun, it's probably a good idea to cut your losses on this one.
