'Broad City' Trailer Is So Funny, You'll Wonder Why You Haven't Watched the Show Before (VIDEO)

broad cityYou know what the world needs more of? Funny female celebrities. Yes, shockingly to most of society, women are actually really hilarious. That's why it's great to see the trailer for the second season of Broad City getting so much buzz. You can't help but love this quirky, uncensored, no-holds-barred show featuring two extremely talented female leads.

The series premiered on January 22, 2014, so fans have been waiting a long time for any kind of hint about the second season. Broad City was created by the amazing duo Ilana Glazer and Abbi Jacobson, who are the stars. The show used to be a web series from 2009 to 2011. For some background, Ilana is a 22-year-old who slacks off at work, much to the chagrin of her coworkers, and is very sexually interested in Abbi. Abbi, on the other hand, is a 26-year-old who works at a fitness center called Soulstic. They both thoroughly enjoy smoking pot and navigating their treacherous way through the concrete jungle of New York City.

Be prepared, there is some NSFW language in the trailer. But enjoy, it's well worth it:

Between tweezing in the dressing room (ugh) to cameos from Seth Rogen and Kimiko Glenn from Orange Is the New Black to twerking to shouting at an adorable kitten, the two alumnae of the NYC comedy group Upright Citizens Brigade are refreshingly hilarious and don't apologize for making fools of themselves wherever they go.

If you haven't tuned in yet to Broad City on Comedy Central, now is most definitely the time. You won't regret it. You'll laugh at the running gag about how those Bed Bath & Beyond coupons never expire, and perhaps we'll finally get a glimpse at Abbi's mysterious roommate. Also, everyone from Janeane Garofalo to Fred Armisen to Amy Poehler (who's an executive producer on the show) made cameos on the first season, so the second, set to premiere on January 14, 2015, should have even more surprising, funny stars. Let's just hope that cute kitten finds a much more, um, loving home, though.

Have you heard of Broad City? Does this trailer convince you to tune in?
