‘Walking Dead’ Sneak Peek: ‘Four Walls’ Makes Us Question Father Gabriel

Walking Dead sneak peek Four Walls

When last we saw our intrepid Walking Dead survivors, something very very VERY bad had happened to Bob. Also, things were sort of up in the air for Carol and Daryl. Oh, and what was the deal with Father — okay, okay, I don’t want to get too far into spoiler territory without giving you fair warning.

Episode 3 of season 5 is titled “Four Walls and a Roof,” and it was written by Angela Kang (she wrote the season 4 episodes “Infected” and “Still”) and directed by Jeffrey F. January. The official AMC description reads, “Rick and the group find themselves pitted against some very nasty people, but they might just have a plan to gain the upper hand." NICE.

If you’re all caught up on the latest in season 5, I’ve got the latest sneak peek videos and promos for Sunday’s Walking Dead.

Here’s the sneak peek clip, which shows Sasha confronting Father Gabriel in his church:

“This is all connected,” she says dramatically. “You show up, we’re being watched, and now three of us are gone.”

The three must be Bob, Carol, and Daryl, but how is Father Gabriel involved — if he IS involved? Carol and Daryl drove off after Beth’s kidnap car, and Bob was taken by Gareth, who turned Bob’s leg into a blue plate special. Is Father Gabriel connected to the cannibals at Terminus or the mysterious people who took Beth? If his TV storyline follows the comics at all, we’ll likely learn that he wasn’t exactly a generous, Godly person when the plague first hit … but is he currently in a position to cause harm to Rick’s group? Someone’s been carving weird symbols into trees which may be leading the bad guys to their prey, right?

Here’s a promo where Sasha notices the mark cut into the tree where Bob was:

Damn, surprise night vision zombies are even creepier than rotted waterlogged food bank zombies.

What do you think is going to happen in Sunday’s episode? Do you think Father Gabriel is in cahoots with Gareth’s gang?
