Jenelle Evans Opens Up About Returning to 'Teen Mom 2'
j_evans1219/InstagramWe thought all hope of Jenelle Evans returning to Teen Mom 2 was gone, but apparently not! It sounds like Jenelle is "waiting" to hear whether or not she'll be returning to the show ... yes, after MTV confirmed it was no longer filming with her or David Eason after the incident involving her dog, Nugget, earlier this year. What?!
Last week, Jenelle told a fan on Twitter that she was waiting to get answers from her old job.
According to Us Weekly, the fan asked what Jenelle's career plans were now that her time on the show is over, and she replied that she was in a bit of a limbo position at the moment.
"I've always had other jobs besides MTV, so I've always been working," Jenelle said. "I also have a lot of open opportunities but waiting on answers from my old job."
In a later response, she clarified that by "old job" she meant MTV. Hmm...
It's not clear whether she meant she's hoping to work with MTV again, or if it's about something else.
After all, Jenelle could still be under contract with MTV even though they're not filming with her anymore, so she may not be able to pursue new projects without their permission.
Then again, this is Jenelle we're talking about -- literally anything is possible.
In the meantime, Jenelle's been keeping herself busy with other ventures.
Earlier this month, she launched her line, Jenelle Evans Cosmetics, and is now trying to help her beauty products get off the ground, so we have to imagine that she's been pretty busy.
Plus, now that she has custody of her kids again, we have a feeling that Jace, Ensley, Kaiser, and Maryssa are keeping her and David on their toes.
We'll just have to stay tuned to find out if she ends up making a 'Teen Mom' comeback.
So far, this season of Teen Mom 2 has been going just fine without her, but we will admit that we miss the special brand of drama that only Jenelle can bring to the table. Then again, doesn't there have to be some kind of consequence for the way she and David have behaved recently?
Time will tell. And we'll be here, waiting for all the updates in the next chapter of her saga.
