'Dancing With the Stars' Recap: Unfair Elimination Takes Everyone by Surprise

DWTS judges

OMG. How awesome was movie night on Dancing With the Stars? It was so much fun to see a bit more acting thrown in with the performances, especially from scenes we all know and recognize.

There were so many awesome dances, it's tough to pick a favorite, but my vote goes for either Sadie Robertson and Mark Ballas' Up recreation, or Alfonso Ribeiro and Witney Carson's Austin Powers routine. (Ahhh! How adorable was his mini me? Love it!)

And Lea Thompson and Artem Chigvintsev's trip Back to the Future tugged at our heartstrings for sure. (OMG. Lorraine McFly. The one and only.)

Oh, and Janel Parrish and Val Chmerkovskiy's perfect scores were SO well deserved with their West Side Story dance. (OMG. Please tell me these two are in love. I can't stand it.)

And Bethany Mota and Derek Hough also earned their perfect scores by honoring Gene Kelly with Singing in the Rain. (Wow. How in the hell did she manage to hang onto that umbrella?)

But as entertaining as tonight's show was, I know I'm not the only one who was a bit surprised at who wound up in jeopardy this evening.

Um, I know as we get deeper into the competition, some of the better performers inevitably have to go home. But did you honestly expect Antonio Sabato, Jr., Randy Couture, and Jonathan Bennett to be in the bottom three tonight?

It seems a tad early for all three of them, and unfortunately, this was the end of the road for Randy.

Something tells me this won't be the most shocking elimination of the season or anything, but still, it's sad to see him go. And by far, he definitely was not the worst dancer on the show. (WTF?)

And man, next week is going to be all sorts of emotional, since the dancers will pay tribute to a special time in their lives with their performances. Guess we should go ahead and get our hankies ready, because there's bound to be plenty of tears shed.

Do you think Randy deserved to go home? Who gave your favorite performance tonight?
