Most die-hard fans of the series are pretty aware of what is going on in the lives of recent contestants, but did you ever stop and wonder what all of the former leading men and women of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette are up to now? We know, we know, there have been so many seasons that it's been hard to keep track! Well, have no fear, because as it so happens, we've been keeping track. It honestly seems like some of the former Bachelor/Bachelorette contestants have dropped off the face of the Earth, while others have gone on to enjoy all sorts of perks associated with the fame they gained on the show.

Either way, we want to know: Where are they now? As soon as each season ends, there is so much hype surrounding the star of the show and his or her relationship with the person chosen, especially if there is some sort of drama or controversy involved. I mean, who can forget watching Arie Luyendyk Jr. break up with Becca Kufrin on TV, only to turn around and get engaged to his runner-up, Lauren Bushnell?

Or how about when Nick Viall got so upset that Kaitlyn Bristowe did not choose him, that he threw the engagement ring he was going to give her into the bushes? (Classic move.)

Yes, some contestants have more interesting stories than others, but it's fun to hear what all of them are up to these days. So go ahead and read on to find out what happened to the former Bachelor and Bachelorette stars. Some of their current gigs are a surprising!

  • Alex Michel

Good grief. How can we ever forget the man who started it all? Alex Michel works at a media and technology company, though he and his chosen lady, Amanda Marsh, are long over.

  • Aaron Buerge

Aaron Buerge and Helene Eksterowicz only lasted for like five seconds after The Bachelor was over. Apparently he fell on hard times in recent years, as Aaron was accused of fraud to avoid paying off a million-dollar debt.

  • Trista (Rehn) Sutter

Out of all of the love stories to come out of the show, Trista and Ryan Sutter's marriage is the biggest success, for sure. They are still living in Vail, Colorado, with their two children, Max and Blakesley. In 2017, Trista was hospitalized while on vacation with her family, after suffering a seizure. She shared the experience and how it changed her in an Instagram post, saying:

I've never been perfect and I never will be, but from here on out I vow to try my best to live this life to the fullest. To embrace gratitude and the lessons I wrote about over 3 years ago with a newly acquired perspective. To stress less. To love more. To listen. Be kind. Spread joy. To be a better version of myself as a wife, mother, sister, cousin, niece, aunt, neighbor, daughter, and friend.

  • Andrew Firestone

Andrew's engagement to Jen Schefft didn't pan out, though he did get his happily ever after. He is currently principal at a company called Stone Park Capital, and he and his wife, Ivana, have three children, Brooks, Anja, and Shane.

  • Bob Guiney

After his romance with Estella Gardinier quickly fizzled, Bob Guiney married Rebecca Budig, but then they wound up divorcing in 2010. He then married Jessica Canyon in 2016, and they are expecting their first child together. He's now doing the music thing with actor Scott Grimes, and is also part of the "Guys Tell All" panel on Today.

  • Meredith Phillips

    Splash News

Meredith Phillips is married to Michael Broady, and opened up about her battle with alcoholism a few years ago. She admits being a "functioning alcoholic" during The Bachelorette while dating ex-fiance, Ian McKee. Meredith also shocked fans everywhere after coming forward and claiming she was roofied and sexually assaulted on The Bachelorette.

  • Jesse Palmer

Jesse is now a host on Daily Mail TV, and also serves as a spokesperson for the National Pediatric Cancer Foundation, and Good Sports. His relationship with his Bachelor final pick, Jessica Bowlin was short-lived, and he's now dating Brazilian model Emely Fardo.

  • Byron Velvick

Byron Velvick and Mary Delgado stayed together for five years after getting engaged on The Bachelor, even though Mary allegedly punched him in the mouth in 2007, leading to her arrest. Byron is now married to Belinda Juarez, and is still doing the pro-fishing thing.

  • Jen (Schefft) Waterman

In a podcast in 2017, Jen came forward and said that her final Bachelorette pick, Jerry Ferris, was secretly an aspiring actor. (Scandalous!) Jen is now married to Joe Waterman, and they have two little girls, Mae and Charlotte. She works as a PR specialist, and lives in the suburbs of Cleveland.

  • Charlie O'Connell

Charlie and Sarah Brice were together for five years, though sadly, they eventually went their separate ways. He's still a TV personality, and he married Playboy playmate Anna Sophia Berglund in May 2018.

  • Travis Stork

For those who don't recognize him from The Bachelor, look for Travis Stork on The Doctors. He married Dr. Charlotte Brown in 2012.

  • Prince Lorenzo Borghese

Lorenzo started on Equire's Lucky Bastards, and now he owns South Beach Brewing Company. He's also co-founder of Animal Aid USA, which is a nonprofit organization that focuses on changing laws to stop animal cruelty. By the looks of his Instagram, he's still single!
