'American Horror Story: Freak Show' Trailer Is Here! Lock the Doors & Watch (VIDEO)

American Horror Story: Freak Show trailer
Step right up, ladies and gentlemen, the first official full-length trailer for American Horror Story: Freak Show has arrived. After all those maddeningly short teaser clips, it's satisfying to see a promo that's more than a few seconds long, and it's pretty much just as deliciously unnerving as you'd hoped.

Set to “Carousel” by Melanie Martinez, the clip shows the cast in full costume as the characters get ready for a performance. We get a peek at Sarah Paulson playing conjoined twins, Kathy Bates as the bearded lady, Michael Chiklis as the strong man, Angela Bassett sporting an extra breast, and Jessica Lange running the whole show in a dramatic big-top themed dress. The only thing that's missing is the horrifying clown -- but don't worry, I've included him too.

Here's the fantastically weird cast of characters in action, and after viewing this, I think we'll all be able to agree on one specific thing:

I know, right? Why release a promotional video that's such low quality? Get your shit together, FX.

Aside from the fact that someone forgot to choose "HD" on the export options for this thing, it looks pretty exciting, right? I haven't been very tempted by AHS during the last two seasons, but I definitely plan to check this one out.

Also, I had to watch this twice before I noticed what was "freaky" about Evan Peters, who plays the strong man's son Jimmy Darling. Take a closer look at his left hand:

Twisty the Clown Killer isn't featured in this new trailer, possibly because everyone's still crapping their pants from seeing him in the teasers. Here he is in "Open Wide":

And "Twisted Smile":

Gaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

Are you looking forward to American Horror Story: Freak Show when it premieres October 8?
