Andi Dorfman's Runner-Up Tried Desperately to Win Her Back (SPOILERS)

Josh Murray Nick Viall

Holy shiz, people! If this is true, it's really just plain sad. Supposedly the man Andi Dorfman did NOT choose at the final rose ceremony on The Bachelorette was so broken up about her dumping him that he begged her to reconsider.

Apparently the dude in question called her and desperately tried to convince her to see him one last time. He truly believed Andi would have a change of heart and opt to break things off with her new fiance to get back together with him.

Ok, so the word on the street is that Andi chooses Josh Murray, which means Nick Viall winds up heartbroken, shocked, and clinging to the hope that maybe Andi will realize he's the better man for her.

Apparently he's been so upset over the rejection that an insider says, "It's been incredibly hard for him. He really thought she was going to pick him. He's almost gone through the stages of grief: believing that she was going to come to her senses then, and now just feeling really angry and upset."

Aww. Don't you feel kinda bad for him? I can't lie -- I haven't exactly been a huge Nick fan throughout this season. Something about him has always seemed a little bit off, but I can't help but feel sorry for him if what this source says is true.

The odds of anyone going on The Bachelor or The Bachelorette for the right reasons are slim to none anymore. If Nick really is this broken up over losing Andi, he must have honestly been in love with her ... like for reals. And if that's the case, there's a good possibility that he's a much more stand-up dude than we ever thought -- so now I feel a little bad for giving him such a hard time all season.

I guess we'll find out once and for all how Nick really feels about Andi once the "After the Final Rose" special airs. Won't it be a kicker if he comes out on the set and tries to win her over yet again?

Do you feel bad for Nick?
