'Real Housewives of Atlanta' Recap: The Truth About Phaedra's Baby

Phaedra Parks

Phaedra Parks was caught in a trap, and she couldn't go back as hard as she tried. Those suspicious minds of The Real Housewives of Atlanta were right, and tonight the truth about Phaedra's baby's due date was revealed right before he was born -- at 40 WEEKS.

She wasn't five or six months along with the world's most advanced baby, like she tried to convince everyone she was. No, her doctor revealed she was full-term, just like anyone with any knowledge of pregnancy at all (at ALL!) knew all along.

Still she kept trying to front, saying perhaps it was a difference of opinion.

"It's not a theory," the doctor corrected her.

BUSTED.

But oh she tried hard right up to the end to convince and confuse everyone otherwise. (Points for persistence?)

Perhaps the best, most ridiculous example of her delusional lies was when she tried to convince her OB/GYN that her husband, Apollo, was "well over eight pounds" when he was born THREE MONTHS EARLY.

Whether she's just stupid enough to think that could even be a possibility or so arrogant that she thinks people are stupid enough to believe her is unclear. Also unclear: How on earth this woman actually graduated from law school and runs what appears to be a successful law practice?

Even checking into the hospital she told the nurse she had no idea how far along she was.

Apparently Phaedra lied to keep the fact that the baby was conceived out of wedlock from her mother. It might have been easier for her to just GROW UP and take responsibility for her actions, but this is Phaedra we're talking about -- the same woman whose first word upon seeing her newborn son was: "Gross."

Followed by: "The first time I looked at him, he just looked Chinese to me but I knew he was my baby because nobody else was in the room."

If I didn't know better, I'd suspect she got her law degree from the same kind of school where Sheree's new man, Dr. Tiye Muhammad, got his medical degree -- an ONLINE school.

During a card party at Sheree's house, NeNe recognized the good "doctor" right away from a previous Atlanta scandal and started questioning his credentials.

After an interrogation that makes TSA pat-downs look tame, Dr. Tiye finally -- through his sweat -- admitted he got his PhD online.

Sheree wasn't impressed, and it's doubtful she's going to keep the likes of him around her supreme being for long.

The other surprising bit of news revealed tonight: Kim Zolciak used to work as a nurse. So not seeing that ... nor would I want to if I was a patient.

But if you don't believe it, you can Google it ... or rather "Google Me" -- which is the name of her new song she debuted on the After Show.

Suffice it to say, it was bad -- beyond bad ... and that is the truth.
