Renee Zellweger Joining 'DWTS' Cast Is Exactly What the Show Needs

Renee ZellwegerI don't want to get my hopes up or anything, but ever since the first All-Star season of Dancing With the Stars -- I've been keeping my fingers crossed that they'll do a second one at some point in the future.

It's just so much fun to see our favorite contestants come back to compete again. But then I heard about the possibility of a different kind of All-Stars twist and now I'm practically jumping out of my seat. According to RadarOnline, Renee Zellweger may appear on DWTS -- along with an entire cast of Oscar winners!

OMG. Please let this be true.

Supposedly producers think casting Renee is all they need to get other super-famous faces on board. One source says, "They keep raising the amount of money they are willing to give her (Renee) in the hopes that she'll say yes, and the theory is that if they can get her to sign on, then it would attract some other really prominent Oscar winning stars -- who wouldn’t normally do reality TV -- to fall in step."

Sounds perfectly genius to me. I mean, why wouldn't other big names want to join in and try and get a piece of the pie if Renee signs up? Those celeb types love nothing more than a little not-so-friendly competition.

And if this does happen -- here are few people I'd totally be glued to the TV each week to watch perform.

Jennifer Lawrence -- Duh. This really needs no further explanation.

Anne Hathaway -- Snort. Every season of DWTS needs a contestant viewers love to hate.

Christopher Plummer -- Holy Captain Von Trapp Batman!!! OMG.

Meryl Streep -- Cuz she's awesome. The end.

Natalie Portman -- She'd win the mirror ball for sure, what with all the ballet experience she got from Black Swan.

Colin Firth -- You can't have Renee Zellweger without Colin Firth. That is all.

Christian Bale -- Eye candy. (Oh, who cares if he's a little quirky?)

Kate Winslet -- This will be the perfect way for her to show us her moves and shed her baby weight at the same time.

What Oscar winners would you like to see on DWTS?
