Rachel and Finn 'Glee'

It's hard to believe that it's been more than five months since Cory Monteith's tragic death. Since then, we've mourned the loss of the great Glee star, both in the real world and on the hit FOX series. And now the show's creator Ryan Murphy is finally revealing what would have been the fate of Monteith's character Finn, had he not passed unexpectedly.

Rachel Berry (Lea Michele) spilled how she dreamed the couple would end up together in "The Quarterback," and Murphy says that apparently, her tale wasn't far off. It may not be exactly what fans expected, but it sounds perfect to me.

Murphy told Entertainment Weekly:

The ending of Glee is something I have never shared with anyone, but I always knew it. At the end of season 6, Lea [Michele]'s Rachel was going to have become a big Broadway star, the role she was born to play. Finn was going to have become a teacher, settled down happily in Ohio, at peace with his choice and no longer feeling like a Lima loser.

Rachel comes back to Ohio, fulfilled and yet not, and walks into Finn's glee club. 'What are you doing here?' he would ask. 'I'm home,' she would reply. Fade out. The end.

Wow. I mean granted we may have always hoped for that perfect wedding, but this just right. There was just no way that Rachel was going to give up her Broadway dreams, but in the scheme of things, I just don't think Glee fans could envision her future without Finn, either. It may have taken some time for Ryan to spill the dets, but it's safe to say that fans are happy he did.

What do you think about Finn and Rachel's perfect ending?
