'DWTS' Recap: Melissa Rycroft Steals Shawn Johnson's Thunder (VIDEO)

Dancing With the Stars served up four more "guilty pleasure" dances tonight -- and I think it's safe to say that Shawn Johnson's rhumba will go down in DWTS history as one of the most beautiful dances ever done by any couple. Set to Celine Dion's "My Heart Will Go On," Shawn and Derek managed to bring Rose and Jack's ill-fated love story from Titanic to the ballroom -- and they were so connected that their performance even brought some viewers to tears (sniff, sniff).

But then when the judges went to give their commentary, everything kind of turned sour for Shawn. Carrie Ann scolded her for doing a lift and Len complained that the rhumba wasn't "rhumba" enough -- and considering how perfect they were, it was pretty easy to see what was really going on.

They obviously didn't want any attention taken away from Melissa Rycroft after the scary neck injury she suffered during rehearsals earlier this week.

It was questionable whether Melissa would even be able to dance after dealing with a herniated disc, so everyone was thrilled when she came out of the gate running tonight and managed to finish her tango with partner Tony Dovolani. And while the performance was good -- it seemed a bit on the safe side, which is understandable given the severity of Melissa's condition.

But somehow, the judges still gave her 9's and for the most part, praised her for her dance.

And that's probably why they were so hesitant to give Shawn the standing ovation and perfect 10's she deserved for her rhumba -- they were simply worried about upstaging Melissa, or having people think her injury somehow affected her scores.

Here is another look at Shawn's performance in case you missed it.

Um -- amazing, right?

At the end of the night, after the team "Gangnam Style" peformance, Sabrina and Louis are at the top of the leader board. And if I had to guess, I'd say Apolo and Karina and Maks and Kirstie will likely go home in next week's double elimination -- even though Kelly and Val are at the bottom of the pack right now. (How the heck did that happen?)

Do you think Shawn was given fair scores for her performance? And who do you think will go home next week?
