'Real Housewives of New York' Recap: Offensive Outbursts Aplenty

Sonja Morgan and LuAnn de LessepsThere was no mincing words tonight as The Real Housewives of New York threw the etiquette book out the window and tongues started wagging with abandon and offense in the episode titled, "You Want to What Me in the Where?" The self-proclaimed queen of etiquette herself, Countess LuAnn de Lesseps, was not surprisingly the biggest offender in the bunch.

It was at a dinner Mario and Ramona Singer hosted to share some of their uber expensive wine with all the ladies and their spouses -- well everyone except Heather Thomson, who was not invited. For some reason they started talking about LuAnn's ethnicity, and she said her dad was a Native Indian. Carole Radziwill pointed out that wasn't a politically correct term, "Anyone over third grade knows not to say Indian," she said, which was kind of rude too, but true.

If LuAnn had just conceded and corrected there, it would have been fine, but she went and made it even worse by making the "Indian noise" Ooo-Ooo-Ooo-Ooo-Ooo and then telling everyone they "better watch their scalps." No, money certainly cannot buy you class, darling.

The next outburst came from Mario who called out Jacques in the middle of their fancy dinner. He told him he felt like they set Ramona up and made it clear that he didn't want to see it happen again. Go Mario. Though it wasn't the time nor the place for the exchange of words, I was glad to see Mario take him to task for this one, because it clearly was a setup. LuAnn, of course, deserved part of the blame too, but she conveniently escaped to the restroom.

Jacques was also the recipient of unexpected outburst number three. Sonja Morgan had a little too much holiday cheer during LuAnn's Christmas party, and while they were all seated at a table together, she blurted out, "I'm not buying it!" Then she went off on Jacques and his intentions with LuAnn, and kept repeating that she didn't buy it and didn't want LuAnn to wind up like her. It was sad, and no one really knew what to do. Jacques looked a little freaked.

Fortunately, it was soon time to sing "Jingle Bells," which was all merry and bright until the final naughty outburst came from the band. There the ladies were singing about dashing through the snow one minute, and the next the band LuAnn hired because they seemed edgy started screaming through a megaphone, "I want to f*ck you in the a$$!" over and over. Then Ramona kept repeating, "They just said, 'I want to f*ck you in the a$$.'" LuAnn was freaking out; Carole wanted to hire them; and it was SO much better than listening to them sing "Jingle Bells".

Next week they're off to St. Barths, and who knows what will happen there.

Whose behavior do you think was most offensive tonight?
