Paula Abdul Death Threats Aren't Cool: Open Letter to Rabid 'X Factor' Fans

Apparently, some rabid Drew Ryniewicz fans took it VERY seriously when the singing contestant was kicked off X Factor the other night. In fact, they're so angry Drew was eliminated, they're calling out hosts Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger on Facebook and Twitter, wishing them dead, and even threatening their lives with vicious death threats.

Well, assuming these fans are remotely reasonable somewhere down deep -- cause people who threaten lives of judges usually are, right? haha! -- here's my attempt to try and talk these upset fans off the ledge.

Dear Drew Ryniewicz fans,

I really think you really ought to take all this death threat business down a notch. And by "down a notch," I mean "frickin' knock it off." Last time I checked X Factor was just a popular talent show on television. Granted it's a singing competition that can possibly change the lives of those who place highest; however, in the end, it is still just a TV show, and Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger are just doing their jobs, which happens to require booting off many talented contestants every week and to the best of their ability.

The X Factor is NOT Drew Ryniewicz's talent or heart or soul and will NOT ruin her chances at hitting the bigtime. We've seen time and time again that winning one of these shows doesn't guarantee her endless fame and losing one of these talent shows doesn't guarantee she will fade into the distance.

Calling Paula a "dumb c**t" or telling her "i hope you die you DUMB B***H" or telling both of these hosts to "go die," -- yeah, that's totally not cool let alone intelligent, and it also most likely it makes your girl Drew feel like complete crap. In fact, this behavior is downright certifiable. You can be locked up for this kind of stuff -- and should be!

By the way, instead of making people pay attention to your thoughts and opinions, sending death threats makes you look loony tunes crazy! Got it?

Let's look to the Biebs, ever Mr. Positive, and see what he had to say to Drew after she was eliminated:

@drewryniewicz keep your head up. I lost my first competition too. this is just the beginning for u. never say never. best wishes.

Awww, now that's the kind of attitude fans ought to have. Try it. You'll like it. And it won't leave so much sour on your tongue or soul.

What words of wisdom do you have for these uber-fans?
