Victoria's Secret Fashion Show to Be Pure Celeb-Gawking Fun

After a Thanksgiving that involved a few too many pieces of pie and virtually no exercise, unless struggling into an increasingly ill-fitting pair of jeans is considered exercise (hey, I broke a sweat), I'm not sure it sounds totally appealing to spend my evening watching a bunch of hard-bodied models parading around in their underwear. Then again, it is the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show that's airing tonight, which is an event that has sort of exploded over the years to be as entertaining as a Hollywood awards show.

Even more so, actually, because it doesn't bother with all the boring hosting duties or montage clips or rambling acceptance speeches. The Victoria's Secret Show is pure eye candy: hot chicks in expensive lingerie, big-name musical performances, and lots and lots of celebrity-ogling.

The modeling star of the show is Miranda Kerr, who you may remember from such events as "having Orlando Bloom's baby" and "losing the baby weight in about .02 nanoseconds." I can't even feel resentful of her for snapping back into shape so fast, since I read what she typically has for breakfast:

I like to start the day with a fresh green juice with kale, spinach, cucumber, beets and lemon. Then half an hour later, I have a power smoothie which has Sunwarrior protein powder, chia seeds, maca powder, raw cacao, bee pollen, goji berries, noni juice, Vitamineral Green, and coconut water.

God that is so weird we are TOTALLY breakfast twins! Ha ha ha ha ha ha not.

Anyway, Kerr will be wearing the (
hushed, reverent tone) Fantasy Treasure Bra during the show, which is the world's most INSANE bra since it's worth $2.5 million, and she'll be joined on the catwalk by other famous pretty ladies such as Adriana Lima, Doutzen Kroes, Chanel Iman, and Candice Swanepoel.

If you're a big
Maroon 5 fan, you'll be happy to know they'll be performing during the show, and I would bet you 2.5 million Fantasy Treasure Bras the girls will be shaking their perfectly-shaped booties to "Moves Like Jagger."

Kanye West, Jay-Z
, and Nicki Minaj are also on tap to provide musical entertainment, and of course there will be the much-touted "pink carpet interviews" with celebrities beforehand. Since the show was recorded earlier this month, we already know some of the big names who attended: Beyoncé, Russell Simmons, Orlando Bloom, Michael Bay (cherry-picking his next ingenue, I'm sure), Donna Karan, Debbie Harry, the superhot werewolf guy from True Blood, and more.

Thirty-eight sexy models, 69 (heh) lingerie costumes, 30 dancers and ballerinas, a handful of major music artists, and a crap-ton of celebrities in the audience—I don't know, I just might have to tune in tonight (CBS at 10 p.m. EST). I'm GUESSING I won't get any objections from my husband.

Do you typically watch the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show?
