'Teen Mom 2' Trailer Makes Me Feel Guilty

Ah, Teen Mom 2. The show we all love to hate is coming back to MTV on Tuesday, December 6 and promises us an inside look at the drama we've been hearing about in the tabloids for months.

The Leah/Corey divorce, the Janelle fights and jail. We will get to see it all unfolding before us. Say what you want about the show, but it's highly, highly entertaining. We are invested in these girls and their future and all of us want to keep on watching them mess up, fall in love, break up, and try to be good parents.

See below for the trailer:

It looks like amazing TV, right? Sometimes it's hard to remember that these are real people with real lives. They are just kids and all their foibles and mistakes are being broadcast for us to judge, mock, and call good TV. It's pretty unnerving when you think of it that way, no?

I am a fan of the show and I can mock the girls with the best of them. But I also feel for them. What they're going through is hard and to have it broadcast may come back and haunt them someday. Sometimes it feels a bit exploitative. Take a girl so young she doesn't know better, offer her a fair amount (but not a TON) of money, and she will sign her life away.

What's next for these girls? Only time will tell, but whatever it is, their fame may not be good for them in the long run.

I will watch and I will write about it, but I will do both with a fair amount of guilt.

Does this show make you feel guilty? How do you think the season looks?
