'Bachelor Pad' Recap: Vienna & Kasey Are (Finally) Losing

Bachelor Pad 2 proves that what you see isn't always what you get with these couples, and there isn't a single couple for whom this is more true than Vienna Girardi and Kasey Kahl. Love 'em or hate 'em, you have to admit, they are genius. They got what they wanted all along. Jake Pavelka went home.

And you know what? I didn't even miss him. Tonight was the "kissing contest" episode, which last year almost made me lose my dinner. This year it was a little less dry heave-inducing, but still just as yucky a concept.

Kasey and Vienna managed to emerge from that unscathed as well. They barely had to kiss anyone because everyone is so intimidated by their "love." And just as they've begun to win in their own minds, they're actually starting to lose.

ABC prepared plenty of love triangles in case Jake was kicked off early. They have the Holly/Michael/Blake/Melissa drama, which provides plenty of entertainment, but isn't nearly as well calculated as the Kasey and Vienna hurricane.

It has played out big for the cameras, but the fact is, we needed Pavelka to make it work. Without him, we just have two attention-seeking freaks who are not nearly as interesting without their nemesis. It's like Austin Powers without Dr. Evil. It doesn't work!

As goes Jake, so go Vienna and Kasey. They just don't seem to know it yet. They think they have it all under control. But they don't. Holly and Michael and Blake are more interesting now. It's a double love triangle! Michelle Money is funny and smart. She shouldn't be underestimated.

There are still a few buffers left (Erica Rose), but the fact is, Vienna and Kasey will never win this. I would bet $250,000 on it.

Do you think Vienna and Kasey can win?
