Kim Kardashian Wedding Plans Are Deeply Disappointing

Kim KardashianSo, there's good news and bad news when it comes to the latest news about the upcoming wedding of Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries. The good news is that E! will air a two-part special, titled Kim's Fairytale Wedding: A Kardashian Event on October 9 and 10. It will show the wedding planning, preparation, and all the details we're all dying to see. The bad news: The wedding is August 20.

Call me delusional, but I was just planning on there being live coverage of the ceremony. I mean, the Kardashians are American royalty. Kate and Wills did it while the world watched, so why not Kim and Kris? I just assumed. Since my invitation seems to have been lost in the mail, I was thinking a viewing party perhaps, but alas, there will be nothing to view as they join hands and say their "I do"s.

Instead we're going to have to wait almost two months to even view this pittance of an offering. I'm feeling a little krabby about all of this.

It's bad enough we have to watch them dating on Keeping Up With the Kardashians while we know they're wedding cake shopping in REAL life. I understand the realities of filming a series that prevent it from being shown in real time, but here's an opportunity for them to give us what we really want -- live Kardashian television. It's a win-win for them and us. E! already has plenty of cameras; what's the problem?

Instead we're going to be sitting around all weekend in a few weeks just wondering what's happening and praying for leaked photos and telling tweets. I'll take what I can get, but damn am I disappointed.

There's still time Kim, E!. Make it happen, please.

Would you like to watch the wedding of Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries live?
